Brayden enjoyed our trip to Va. beach to hang out with Aunt Kim and Uncle Reggie. We had a beautiful sunny day to tour lighthouses and walk on the beach.
January 2008: Welcome to our little piece of cyberspace to share with everyone (especially our family and friends near and far) the journey to adopt a child and start our family. We started researching international and domestic adoption last year. We were originally considering Russia, Ukraine and South Korea. Due to delays with foreign adoption processes, we decided to pursue adopting domestically. Over the last few months we've prepared for getting home study approved. We decided against continuing to work with a local agency and we are now working with A Step Ahead Adoption Services to be matched with a birth mother for placement of a newborn. At this time, our options are open to adopting from several different states and we are not contracted or committed to an agency yet. With this in mind, we ask all our friends and family to please help us spread the word. If you know someone who is aware of an adoption situation, please ask them to contact us. Thank you for your support and prayers!!
