Hope for Maria's baby boy due June 6th
Please pray for Maria's baby boy due June 6th in NV. Jon and I talked to Maria twice this week and she has chosen us to adopt her son! Maria wants us to be present for the delivery but we have to be prepared that she may change her mind within 72 hours after delivering the baby. Before we can come home with the baby, Jon and I will be required to stay in the state of Nevada for 10 days until the two states, NV and NC, approve us to be named as temporary guardians until the adoption is finalized - 6 months later. We're excited and nervous, of course! I will share more about our match with Maria once I feel more comfortable with the hope that this adoption will go through. It's a leap of faith and God has control. If it's meant to be, it will happen.

Katrina, I am so praying for the upcoming birth of the baby boy. I know your love is so big and any baby who gets you and Jon as parents will be one of the luckiest kids in the world. God already knows which child is the one for you. He is on that journey to get that baby to you and will not ever forget you. We always feel we have the hardest part, and that is to wait and see, but he has the toughest part waiting for us to trust in him. I give him all my worries and concerns and I know you are too. Stay strong in the Lord! Always remember he loves us and I love you too!!! Shannon
