YAY! I shed grateful tears of joy today when we received Brayden's Decree of Adoption! Finally, IT'S FINAL! What a relief! I couldn't help but hug and kiss Brayden all day since I'm so excited to celebrate with our little boy. I interrupted his dinner of home prepared peas, broccoli and sweet potatoes to take this picture. He was such a little trooper, as usual. And when Ciara cried in her swing today, he stood at the edge and rocked her gently and gave her his best smile to help calm her. He is a wonderful big brother. We are so very blessed to have this little boy in our lives and we're so thankful to his birthmother for choosing us to be his parents. I spoke to her last week and shared pictures and video of Brayden crawling. Also, today, I spoke to Ciara's birthmother and we had a good talk to catch up. We are still waiting for the Texas court to decide if we have to travel back to finalize Ciara's adoption but it may be next month or as late as June.
