Christina delivered Ciara Kelley at 9:36 a.m. CST on Dec. 31st! It happened so fast that the doctor and Jon missed the delivery. I was right beside Christina while 3 nurses scrambled to get ready and delivered the baby themselves. Here is a photo of nurse Tara (who deserved the New Year's Eve tiara that we gave her :) It was amazing to witness Ciara's birth. Ciara Kelley weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and she is 19 inches long. She has a ton of dark hair and cute chubby cheeks. She has a dimple in her chin like Christina and me :} We are so excited that she is healthy and beautiful. We are so proud and grateful to Christina for bringing this angel into our lives. We were fortunate to have our dear friend Karen visit us from Houston and shower us with gifts, snacks, sparkling grape juice, New Year's hats, horns and treats! We put Ciara in a onesie from my mom that reads: "born in 2008" with firework starburst across the front. Ciara is so tiny; she feels like a feather compared to Brayden's 14 pounds. Gosh, we have so very much to be thankful for this year; I just don't know how to express my happiness. We have been double blessed!
