Our wonderful friends, Deresa and Kevin made our homecoming extra special by coming to the airport on Friday night to welcome home Brayden. Thanks to Lanie for picking us up with all our extra luggage and getting us home safely....and thanks to Lanie for taking care of our 3 pets for almost 2 weeks! My dear friend Dinki cleaned and organized our house, including a beautiful arrangement of roses and a single red rose in our room like the one we gave Maria. Having good friends like this makes me so thankful to God for blessing us to have such good people in our lives. Several friends have dropped off gifts for baby Brayden and meals and we are so very thankful for the thoughtfulness (Jon especially liked the baby gift bag that included extra bold Starbucks coffee and red wine :)
Brayden is adjusting well to his new home and loving the company this week of his Grandmom, Aunt Kim and cousin Cameron who have been helping out tremendously. We're getting four hours of sleep most nights but enjoying our little bundle of joy as he seems to do something new everyday...holding his head up, waving his arms, grasping with his hands and making the most adorable funny faces. I wish I had time to write more but my computer time is now limited since I'm busy with the little sweet pea.
