Yay! We got the call from the agency with approval to travel HOME with Brayden! We're so excited. Our bags are packed and we said our goodbyes to Julia, Danny and Maria today. We've been here 13 days so we are ready to get home with our little boy. Jon has been busy researching how to store, ship and transport frozen breastmilk. Maria gave us an ice chest full and we are so grateful to her for being so dedicated to the love of Brayden. It was hard to say goodbye to her today. We really bonded over the last few weeks. We have so much love and respect of her and we are honored she chose us to be Brayden's parents. We definitely plan to stay in touch and keep the adoption open. Brayden will always know he is loved twice as much.
So, off I must go to get ready to take Brayden to the airport with our overstuffed bags. We're trying out the Bjorn carrier today. We arrive home at 8:40 PM ET. wahoo!!!
